PCM COOLING POLO SHIRT
Discover a new approach to thermal comfort with our PCM (Phase Change Material) polo shirt.
Designed for professional environments, outdoor activities and everyday use, this polo shirt features a PCM thermoregulating treatment on the inner surface of the fabric. The material absorbs and temporarily stores part of the thermal energy during its phase change, helping to improve the wearer's thermal comfort.
Its design combines a classic fit with a technical stretch fabric made of nylon and elastane. The ribbed collar, button placket and neat finishing give it a professional appearance, while the PCM technology is integrated directly into the fabric, without batteries or removable inserts.
A technical polo shirt combining a smart appearance, ease of use and textile innovation for activities in hot weather.
Unisex style, regular fit.
Available colours: black, white and grey.
PCM technology relies on phase change materials capable of absorbing and storing thermal energy as they transition from one physical state to another.
On this polo shirt, the PCM is applied to the inner surface of the fabric as a thermoregulating treatment or coating. During the phase change, it absorbs some heat and helps temporarily limit thermal fluctuations at garment level.
Unlike active cooling devices, this mechanism operates without electricity, batteries or motorised components. The PCM is part of the textile system: no inserts need to be removed, cooled separately or reinstalled.
The effect depends on the PCM formulation, its transition temperature, the amount applied and the conditions of use. It provides a temporary thermal storage effect rather than continuous cooling.
Preparation: The polo shirt is ready to wear. No inserts or electrical systems require prior preparation.
Use: Wear the polo shirt normally, in contact with the body.
Thermoregulating action: The PCM temporarily absorbs some heat as the material passes through its phase-change temperature range.
Thermal cycle recovery: When the temperature drops sufficiently, the material may release the stored heat and return to its initial state.
The duration and intensity of the effect depend on the amount of PCM, its transition temperature, the ambient temperature and the level of activity.
The TL-040 polo shirt combines the appearance of a classic polo with thermoregulating technology integrated into the fabric. It is suitable for companies seeking a functional garment that maintains a professional appearance without requiring batteries or additional accessories.
PCM helps manage temporary thermal fluctuations through its ability to absorb and release thermal energy during the phase change. This property may improve thermal comfort under certain conditions of use.
The effect is neither unlimited nor constant: it depends on the PCM formulation, its transition temperature and the environment. The garment does not replace standard heat-prevention measures.
1. Put on the polo shirt as you would a regular garment.
2. Wear it in contact with the body so that the PCM fabric can respond to temperature changes.
3. Allow the material to temporarily absorb heat when conditions permit its phase change.
4. When the temperature drops sufficiently, the PCM may return to its initial state and release the stored thermal energy.
5. Care for the polo shirt according to the instructions on its label.
