Eco-responsible travel bags
When designing our Packen brand, it was crucial to identify materials that could stand the test of time. It was also important for us to minimize waste and to protect the environment.
HDPE (high density polyethylene) material was a natural choice to help in achieving both of these goals: HDPE acts as a superior combination of paper and fabric, it is flexible and malleable, it is also able to resist moisture, chemicals and extreme wear and tear. HDPE is particularly appreciated for its breathability, water resistance, robustness, recyclable properties and lightness.
The line of recyclable Kraft paper bags is our second proposal to respond to the challenges of eco-responsibility and circular production.

After the entry into force of European Directive 2015/720 concerning the consumption of lightweight plastics, the national authorities of the EU member states have implemented various regulations in order to reduce this consumption.
Packen bags made from recyclable Kraft paper have undeniable advantages in terms of respect of the environment, contributing to creating a more sustainable world, because they are natural and biodegradable, have a low impact on the climate and the environment, being at the same time reusable and recyclable.
